RE: Windscreens
They both have their pros & cons it seems (according to everyone on here)......if you wanna travel a lot on the freeway (tuck) then a Double Bubble might be for you.
If you just wanna fart around town &you're afraid the Double Bubble might just put all the air in your face....then just stick with the stock screen or get a tinted stock screen
I mean I enjoy my Double Bubble & think it was a big upgrade over the stock screen (I'm 6 foot).....but it all depends on who you ask obviously

opinions vary, seems you either love or hate it. depending on your height, and how you sit,
it can either put the airflow right in your face, or just over it.
like yesterday I noticed that it was going right over me as long as I was in a slightly crouched agressive stance. but if I poked my head
up I got alot of air. which was actually nice, it was hot out and the air filled my helmet and down my jacket. others dont like it becuase they are too tall and
the air is always deflected right at their faceshield causing alot of turbulance and noise.
the other thing to watch out for, is that the DB are notorius for melting gauges. it just so happens the curvature is just right to focus the sun on the plastic and melt your gauge. I always just throw my gloves up on the guages.

Hahaha... yeah heard about when you have a DB windscreen and you park in the sun for long periods at a time. A friend of mines just put one on his bike2002 Yamaha R6 abouta month ago and the top of his gauges melted in the path of sun travel. I laughed my *** of when he told me about it. So what he did was put a 'sporty' headband around the guage box and problem solved. The weird thing is that he even has a tinted chrome colored one (blue) and the sun still did its thing. Well, I plan to get a DB soon, and now I know to be cautious of!
