Is better to ride with higher speed on high winds. The Bike stick to the ground because of its plastics. Aerodinamics

I ride in 35+ all the time. Just do it until it's second nature and (wo)man-up.

it just sucks when you get the trifecta...cold, wind, rain. i had that on the ride to work this morning. 35-40mph gusts, rain, and about 40*

hey jay...isn't the bay bridge fun on a windy day?

It takes mostly experience more than anything. How your bike handles, accelerates and brakes. Even though our bikes are the same. Every single bike rides a bit different. How I ride in the wind, as crazy as it sounds...I tuck under the windshield ( I have a double bubble, so its better for wind). And I accelerate up to around 100-115, this cuts the wind like a knife thru warm butter, and the bike actually rides smoother. Now every situation is different and I don't recommend this to newer riders. But its working for me and I am still riding

I keep catching bad gusts. I'm not complaining, because it makes the ride interesting. Recently, we've been getting 45+mph gusts at random (damn Canadian cold front), so it's a wierd feeling. Maintain your lane position, give yourself some more room between traffic, and make yourself known to others. If you can, use traffic as a wind shield, but DO NOT ride in the blindspot of a car.
