new to the forum.. i need quick advice. will a gas tank and fairing from an 05/05 cbr 600 rr fit and work on an 01 cbr 600 f4i

well y not. i can get that set for prlly under a $100 shipped. well is there anyplace i can find out what will work to replace this. i need a tank and the tank cover silver with a black strpe for a 2001 cbr 600 f4i

the straight answer is no because the F4i doesnt have a tank fairing like the 600rr the F4i tank is one piece where the rr tank is a fairing overlaying a tank. hope this cleared it up for you but like i always say if you have the tools an the cash flow anything is possible have a good one

 

mounting points are diff. The RR has side tank fairings n the F4/i does not.

 

so the f4i is a single gas tank an no fairing. glad you cleared that up cuz i seen that on ebay and was all confused. anyone know where to find a silver gas tank with black stripe

 

one more quick fitment question will a 954 tank work since is a single piece tank?

 

Not positive, but I am willing to say no again. Same thing, mounting points, fitment with the frame.

 

thanks for the help guys. wish i could find one cheaply since i dont want to sink to much money into it since i want to keep it a steal. story on the bike my friends sisters b/f bought it wrecked for 1500 had it 2 weeks sold it to my buddy for 1500 and my buddy wants to fix is and will sell it to me with for what he has in it come next spring so im in charge of finding parts since he works12 hour shifts overnights
