Default Will the 954rr tailight fit in the 01 F4i undertail?

so im doing the tail conversion on my 05. i was thinking about getting this pimpbikes undertail. i like the signal stock light look not the two round leds. so would a 954rr taillight fit? it looks pretty similar to the stock 01 tail light? any help would be greatly appreciated.

yea thats the light im looking for but it looks like he used some sheet metal as the undertail. i want it to fit in the pimpbike undertail. i was thinking about the sheet metal and fabricating my own undertail. but i like the look of the pimpbike tail. ill message and ask him what he thinks

I just ran into this problem with my bike and I cut out the two leds and just slid a stock tail light in, i have being held in with zip ties for now, but when I buy the new fairings and get my tank color matched i'm buying the pimp bike undertail. I'd recommend getting it as it fits the stock tail light or another one, IE Clear Alternatives and you wont have any fitment issues, they also will help you color match it when you install it. Up to you, but again I'd recommend the pimpbike undertail and the tail light.

The top picture is the stock 01 tail light. Prolly what I'm gonna go with and that same undertail. Gonna look tight.

Many members have gone w/ the pimpbikes undertail & been very happy w/ it. You could use the F4i tail light that has the integrated signals & make the tail look even cleaner. Of course, you're still going to have to mount up your plate bracket tho. ;-)

Yea that's what I'm gonna go with. Possibly the smoked integrated taillight. But still have settled on it yet.,

Where's a good place to pick up a good aftermarket taillight. I dunno how I feel about the ones on eBay from Hong Kong. Anyone had any ideas?
