I used a stapler but I wished I owned one. Might be my next investment. I love tools. Can't have enough.

I got a stanley stapler at walmart for 15 bucks. Just make sure you buy a pack of 1/4 inch staples for it so they don't go all the way threw and hit your butt on the bumps.

Harbor freight sells an air stapler that uses the wide-crown T-50 staples, $25.

The seat pan for my F3 is a HARD plastic, I tried a spring-driven Stanley T-50, no joy,
wouldn't set the staples. Just crumpled them up. With my compressor set to 90psi,
the air stapler set them perfect. Flush but not over-penetrating the fabric.

I kept mine afterwards, that whole "cash, grass or ***" philosophy. It's bad karma to
try to ride for free. Besides, my wife, thinks it's really cool, after struggling with the
spring-driven version for her projects.
