I think you're asking too much.

 

Bad time of year. Motorcycling season {as far as purchasing) is long over. If you want a good buck for the bike put it up in mid april. Prices drop in some cases thousnds as the season wears on. I really like the pinstriping by the way, I may have to steal that idea.

Its a good bike in dood shape, an it sounds like it's been taken care of, unfortuately the motorcycle hype is usually dead by July.

the KBB value of your bike in YOUR zipcode is only $6070 add to that it's not the best color in the world *i have an 05 too and dont like either color as much as other years =P* then add the fact that its late AUG and thats when EVERYONE is selling bikes you will have to drop 500 bucks if not more off to get it out the door

 

That and most people want an RR now... the F4i is supposedly dated :-/ People just don't know that much...

 

That price is really high, even for Hawaii where bikes typically cost $2 - $3,000 more ....even for used bikes.

Don't expect to get all your money back on the mods you've done...that is something you will have to sacrifice.

People expect the mods you do to be free in some ways...I actually prefer a stock used bike over a modded one.

Thanks for all the input, I've dropped it down to $6000, which is the pay off value. If I cant sell it, I'll just have to get a power commander and enjoy what I've got. But DAMN, I want an 07RR. You guys are great, and I don't mind you stealing the pin stripe idea, I stole the red bull can idea, so how can I complain? Thanks again guys!

 

yeah this is the time of year where i start looking for great deals.. people might think riding season is over - but somewhere in the world, there is a place you can ride. But yea, i would just have fun with it intil next year and the weather gets nice again. People would rather wait till riding season to buy one for more then buy it cheap in winter and just hold onto it till spring/summer..

it is a very nice bike tho, keep the shiney side up
