why do people extend their bikes?
definitely a noob question...but why do people extend their bikes? other than the bling factor, is there any benefit? wouldn't it affect the turning radius of the bike? i'm curious...

And like said the only benefit of is only seen on the drag strip to help keep the front down on lauch. Good riders dont need it tho. And pro have a bike especially for drag racing and only sees the track.
Yeah, it is mostly to keep the front down when launching hard around town with lots of traffic. It also works for this one guy in my neighborhood on the long straightaways.
lol ima prolly get flamed but whenever i see them extended i always them damn they cant drag a knee so they opted to just go in a strait line cuz they suck. thats just what i think and i know its not tru

I'm sure it has to affect the turning of the bikeatleast to a point. I love to lean the bike over hard in a curve, personally I think they are pretty ugly.
