Default Who has a center stand?

I know that you can buy a center stand off of the euro models and it bolts up to the F4i. What I'm wondering is will an aftermarket slip-on effect its insallation? The reason I'm wondering is because on my old bike (ex250) the right side exhaust can had a tab on it for the center stand to rest on to keep it off of the chain. Is there any difference between the Euro vs. Us model that will effect its fit on our model? Thanks.

I know that my Scorpion slipon originally has some arrangement for center stand (since scorpion is fm uk). I think there are some issues with slipons.

Hmmm.. I think If i want to do this I will need to talk to some people from the UK. Maybe I can get the info out of the Clymer manual.

I have a euro model, with a Scorpion slip-on and OEM centre stand. No issue whatsoever, but never really looked if it has any exhaust / centre stand arrangements.

out of curiosity, why do you want the center stand? I would assume a rear stand or a front stand (or both) could suffice, no?

Yes it could. I just like the idea of having a center stand on the bike for travel purposes. I would much rather have regular stands, they seem like they would be much more stable, useful and conveninent for at home maintenance. I dont know if I can swing purchasing a stand for it for a while. With all the work I want to do with the bike, having a stand of some sort is not a option but a necessity.

kukku- Could you snap a picture or look to see what the stand is supported by when it is in the raised position?

If a euro model exhaust cannister is needed to support the center stand while riding, it wouldn't really be a cost effective solution.
