Default Where to put the sliders?

Hi everybody, recently I have a little accident with my f4i, the right flank get a little damage, so I decide to buy the sliders. Where I have to put them? because the cover doesn't have a space for that.

Thanks.

its the top engine bolt that connects to the frame. make sure u have everything sighted up perfect to cut ur holes, mine are alittle off.

There should be a little bubble in the fairing. You want to put it close to there. I'm not sure exactly, b/c I bought the bolt-ons. Sorry...

the no cut sliders do come off as a good idea, but in a lay-down the no cut sliders have a tendency to snap which well might create more damage then not having them at all. The sliders that you have to cut through the fairing doesnt look bad at all in fact i'll go take a picture here in a minute to show you exactly how it looks. Its your bike, but from what i have heard the no cut sliders are not very helpful.

i believe most would recommend using the method of drilling through the fairing. one of the guys here posted a great how to with pics. i used it to install mine tonight. it was really pretty easy. here is the link:

What do you use to cut the hole? A regular hole-saw from the hardware store? Also has anyone seen the sliders with the lights in them that also flash with your turn signals? How are those? Just curious.

You'll use a hole cutting bit for a regular drill to cut the holes.

As for the lights, I've not seen a frame slider sold with lights built in. However, I have seen some individual LED lights that you can add to any part of your bike. I imagine it wouldn't be too tough to add a frame slider.
