Where to put HID ballast?

Default Where to put HID ballast?

I just ordered a hid kit and i was wondering where the monkey put the ballasts. I got the thin ballast kit, but the who area looks pretty crowded...

Any suggestions?

I put my under the plastic cover right in front of the tank , The Black piece covring all the harnesses it secure from the tank to the front fairing , loosen the screws and you can tuck the ballast up under the plastic, between the air vent and the plastics, it worked for me !!!!!! i got a 8000K kit super bright

In the how to section there are several write ups on HID installs. They show pics where they stuck theirs.

right to the inside of the headlights...my slims fit nicely in there.

I have mine in the gap in between the bottom of the headlight and the fairing.

I fixed mine at the bottom of the upper stay ("A" - the little one that connects the main one with the frame) cowl holder. Just fixed it with plastic tightening (sorry - I don't know the word for it - it is used for fixing wires - put one part in to another and then pull it - it self tights, and you can then cut the rest of it...)

I have mine in the same place as redzintimidator. It works well there.
