hi all I just got a 2001honda cbr 600 f4i just wondering when do you guys shift gears when is it the time to shift from first to second without hurting the engine. How much miles per hour can first gear hold? and second? and third?

 

dude are you a troll or just honestly have these questions? Read your owners manual, it tells you how to do all this. It tells you how to shift to achieve best mpg. I feel like I'm falling for some prank answering this thread and the other one about gas.

Wow testy newb.
Shift whenever you feel like it. If you want to shift at 3000rpm then do it, as long as you don't feel the engine lugging. I shift at 4000rpm all the time.

 

thank you finally someones helpful around here really appreciate it does anyone know how much RPM can 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and 6th could handle I DONT HAVE A MANUAL!!!!!!!

 

As long as your Tach dosn`t see Red you should be good just don`t shift down to quick or your Back Tire will loose control .
