Default Whats a good front tire

I need a new front tire, hopefully by this weekend. So i was wondering what are some good ones that people have used in the past? Not looking at ridiculously expensive ones either since i dont do any racing.

I don't want to sound like a jerk but... have you used the search function? the same tire questions are asked over and over.

A lot of people like to match the front and back tires... that way you have the same profile and grip front and back.

Pilot powers are good.... everyone will say something different. Don't go with anything super cheap like shinko (if you are a new rider).

so my back tire is a Battlax BT01r 180/55 zr17 m/c

my buddy i was talking to about tires says his bike came from the factory with a battlax on the rear and i dont remember what he said the front was but it was different. But that was back in 95 when he bought his Ninja.

My front and rear are Battlax. I came on looking for the SAME question lol. Bikebandit has a closeout sale on the front battlax bt010 (the OEM tire) for $100, think I'm gonna do it. My tread isn't worn, it's still good, just have a lot of fine cracks in the rubber from age and I'd rather not chance it

Michelin 2CT, they are dual compound rubber. The center of the tire uses a harder compound, so they will last longer for more highway rides. The sides use the softer rubber, the same compound used in the Pilot Powers. This gives you good cornering. They should be bought in a set, so the front matches the rear.

And yes, this subject has been asked over and over again. Welcome to the forum Drew.
