Default what's this bike worth?

2006 f4i, flawless exterior, 500 miles.

it was only ridden one season. for the past 5 years it's pretty much been parked in a heated garage getting started up once a week.

what's the bike worth? except for the tires, what else do yall think may need to be serviced or replaced before riding it?

Sounds too good to be true or real. Unless you are speaking theoritically..

I bought my 06 with 933 miles on it just this past September. Completely stock, perfect condition. Bike started up no problem, runs smooth as ever. The guy said he ran it once every couple of weeks. I snagged the bike from him for $4,300. You will be able to get a lot more for the bike once Spring hits. I'd say $5,000 max.

yeah i'd say $5k max too. if you do get it i would just make sure the chain and everything is lubed and clean and just to do it i would change the oil and put new gas in it.

5k is the asking price, and the guy seems unwilling to bargain. i thought that was a little steep.

It is a bit steep. KBB lists $4455 for my area, you also have to take into account that you need to change the oil, coolant, brake fluid, and need some new tires on it as well if it's still on the stock rubber. Starting something up once a week just to idle it is kinda stupid to me since most engine wear occurs on startup, if your gonna start it up ride it some at least.

Default just picked up

i just picked up a 2004 F4I with 7k miles for 3500. its probably the best im gonna do around in my area, so i guess it depends where you are. not very many people want to get rid of the F4I's. hope this helps.

the seller of this f4i seemed shady, so i decided to bail.

i was looking for a clean f4i to grab for a few months, and haven't had any luck. didn't want to risk missing another riding season, and saw a clean 1-owner 2008 600rr for sale nearby, and went for it - deal is pretty much done, just waiting for the seller to get the title from the bank. will post pics when i get it home.
