Default whats this for?

does anyone know what this plug is for if had my f4i for about 3 years and as far as i know it hasnt effected anything. it comes off the harness by comp. thanx for any help

If it's small and black, it's for plugging into a diagnostic computer.

as i know, it's not for computer(it's not can interface on the bike), just when shorted out you can read the trouble codes stored into the memory, please feel free to correct me, if i'm wrong.

the first picture looks like the wiring system of the motorcycle. The second picture looks like the little black box that is located right above the battery (right underneath your seat.)

it's the harness for the ejection seat...if you got that option. in the event that you are about to go into a head on crash, locking the brakes triggers it and it launches you over whatever you're supposed to hit...

if it's an 80' brick wall or building, your SOL...but if it's just a car...you land on the otherside and hope you don't get run over.
