1996 triumph tiger 900! it was my dads brand new, then i got it for my 16th birthday!!! ye haa! 5 years later still got it and my beloved F4i!
This wasnt the first bike iv ever ridin for the recored..lol..

'01 Kawi ex500. Great bike to learn on. I could push it hard, and it did a pretty good job keeping up with the 600's.

'82 750 Magna, was the 1st bike I owned, learned to ride on a friends 250 Rebel.

MIne was a o1 F4i still have it and I love it. If you come from a riding background (cruiser,dirt, moped, quad) it was a very wasy transition.

Nobody else that started with a FZR 600 out there? Well, I guess I learned and rode a bit on my friend's ninja 250, but the fizzer was MY first bike :)

reality check, your 13 yr old isn't have fun on it. you have locked up so no one can use it.

'95 Kawasaki Ninja 500EX all the way...great bike to learn on. Upgraded to f4i a couple months ago and love it.

A Ninja 250 was my first bike.. Sold it to another newb just before I bought my F4i.

1968 GT185.... suzuki... man what a power house...NOT!! and drum brakes all round.....

Well, THIS will tell you how OLD I am....a 1965 Superhawk 305. I had several of those between 65 and about 68 and remember buying one of them new for about $450. Really a very advanced bike in its day and I learned a lot from much very fast and aggressive riding on those often very modified bikes.

Wow have'nt seen this thread in a while. Glad to see some more stories.

When I started the poll i wanted to find out if all the talk about an F4i as a first street bike would be true since most comments were negative towards this being your first road bike.
