I bought an 05. When parking next to my buddies or co-workers my bike appears much less aggressive with thebanana seat. Any other time it doesn't bother me and the old lady likes it, so I pick the banana seat.. If price is no object, I'd go with an 07RR. Just can't justify that much in depreciation----To me there is no such thing as "money is no object"....I could be a millionaire and still money would still be an object, but I'm greedy like that.....Personally I like to invest my money in someting that will appreciate over time, not depreciate.....But if money is no object, figure out what you want to do with the bike, buy a brand new one that meets your needs and customize it the way you like right off the show room floor.

I like the banana seats because you have a wide variety of sitting positions. Not only that, but you have good access to the big space underneath. Although, it kinda gives the bike a 'retro' look or it reminds me of the bicycle I used to ride as a kid (ok, I'm still a kid at 40). I recently bought and installed the Targa rear cowl cover and I must say that it looks good. But, now I can't access under the seat, because you have to take the cowl off first, which is held down by screws. I think I might just remove the cowl for good, unless I want the sporty look, then I'll put it back on. One last thing, someone who rides in our group, who owns a '02 F4i says that the '06 F4i's are just a wee bit faster than the 600RR's. Hmmm... go figure.
