I just bought Castrol 10w-40. I was biased to Castrol since im a BMW head. Will try to look for new oil since there seems to be fuel in the oil due to the FPR going bad.

As for Coolant, is aw the OEM honda stuff at the dealer. gonna research if doing water wetter and 100% pure distilled water will be ok since I dont plan to ride in the cold (that was our only issue wiht track cars, not flushing water in the winter since coolant is very slippery on the track if it ever leaks!)

I hope it's not regular Castrol car oil. Whatever brand/grade you choose, make sure it's formulated for wet clutches. It will have JASO-MA listed on the label.

I'm using Repsol 4t and Engine Ice. Also I'm with demon. Make sure you use a semi synthetic oil designed for wet clutches. Castrol makes it but normally you have to buy it around here at a bike shop. They don't sell it at the typical autozone, advanced auto parts, etc. That's why I just order my oil in bulk. I have a business account with motorcycle superstore and cheap cycle parts dot com.

Yes it is motorcycle oil, bought it from Cycle Gear.

Everyone seems to be doing Rotella, I will give them a shot next

Rotella has 3 different oils: Regular, semi-synth, and T6 synthetic. I prefer the full synthetic, but they are all JASO-MA certified. Pick your flavor and run it. Walmart has the best price I've seen on it. Maybe someone else has a better supplier?

Agreed.

Great to know Wal Mart carries it. I might check it out on my way to get new tires mounted today!

I have to change my brand new oil for sure thanks to a faulty FPR dumping gas into my oil. I let some drain and it was way passed the fill line!

Does the Rotella T6 blend come in 10w-40 or just 5w-40?

T-6 is 5w-40 and will work well.
