Default What should i do?

I just got a cheap bike from a friend that basically didnt know a thing about bikes. The 01 cbr f4i was pretty bad. He blew both fork seals and i am replacing them. I weigh about 215lbs. What weight fork oil should i get? And this may be a stupid question, but does anyone know a brand of exhaust that makes a sort of moto gp style pipe for the 01 cbr f4i? I saw a custom one on ebay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju76gsbuRiI, and i was looking for something like that. i just like the style.
Thanks

C lew

If he was busting forks, he was really hard on it. Change your oil, coolant, and brake fluid front and rear. Clean and lube your chain as well. Look into a high mount exhaust system from Hindle to pick that side exhaust up and out of the way. Pretty much any name brand exhaust will give you a good sound but they do vary slightly in tone from one to the other. Oh yeah, and factory fork oil should be fine. Also, check the tires because they are REALLY important. If your tires are worn out, you are in trouble.

While your in the forks, I'd at least put in heavier springs. I'm 213 and love my 1.0 springs.

I already changed the oik coolant plugs. The fork seals were blown bc he low sided into a curb and the front end took all the damage. It wasnt starting and i replaced the starter relay. The tires are good too. They have like 100 miles on them. And how much would the springs cost me for both.

Front springs are $100 for the set. Don't neglect the rear or you'll be sorry.

First bike? don't forget MSF and if some of the plastics are good get some sliders. Maybe over the winter you may want a battery tender too. Good luck on getting that thing together and Congrats.
