Default What to look for when buying an F4i

Hey guys

I just sold my old F3 from '95, and now im going to buy an F4i.
I was wondering if you had any advice for what to keep in mind when buying this model, is there anything in particular i should check for wear&tear? - besides from ofcourse the brakes, chain and other regular parts of the bike that wears from use...
I know some of you will say, "just buy the new 2011 F model" and frankly im tempted, but i seriously dont think its a good looking bike, imo it looks like a beefed up moped - and from what i read its just a hornet with a couple fairings on... So! let me know if there is anything i should be on the lookout for!

Mojn from Denmark!

the cct(when it was replaced and or if it needs to be), if it has been layed down, if there is rubber on the undertail telling you that he did burnouts. other than that the F4i's a tank

as far as f4i specific problems i can only think of the cct.
when i get home i have a "used motorcycle buying guide" on my favorites i could put on here. idk if that would help or if youre just asking for F4i specifically

These bikes are pretty bullet-proof..if the bike was never laid down, stunted, etc, the only mechanical issue would be the CCT.

Just take the bike for a spin and see if you hear the "bee's nest" sound.

I have a 2001 F4i, zero problems. I have more than 50,000 kms done on the bike, you do the math for the miles, its a great bike. I just love the Michelin PP 2CT's, lots of confidence in the curves. You can due no wrong getting this bike. I will never sell mine, period.

Is the price for this bike 68000 DKK? That converts into roughly around 12,400 US dollars which seems like a lot. But I could be wrong given this is a European model
