I decided the teal/white paint was too "LOOK AT ME!" for my tastes, so I'm now re-re-painting the bike flat black... so far, the fender's painted. Also, I have a few more things planned (stay tuned... I'm keeping everything a secret until it's actually on the bike)... hopefully, the bike will look a little sharper when I'm done

cool, i liked the teal....ya know, something different. but im looking forward to seeing the outcome of what you've got going on here. i'd say flat black has been done many times before, but depending on what you have that you refuse to tell us about...it could be a damn cool bike!

keeping my eyes on this one....

f**king forum problems... this is the 9th time I'm typing this...

metallic teal is awesome, but flat black is more aggressive... maybe it'll let me post this time

The fender eliminator will look a ton cleaner when I'm done, but until then, this will work [8D]... I need to order some led flex-strips soon.

And hopefully, I'll have a nice little custom surprise by next monday (not FE-related)

you got the same undertail kit as me, haha.
i need to invest in a real undertail too, but i dont think hardly anyone even notices.
i have the flush mounts mounted ont he side of my custom hackd undertail. gives it a nice "im too broke to buy an undertail" look, haha.

and im likin the flat black so far. good job.

lol yup... whatever works, right? [8D]

When it's done, it's not going to blow anybody's mind with it's innovation, but it should impress some people with the results for the price... we're talking a perfectly clean undertail with the stock tail (and no viseable signals) for $20.

Im not knockin ya but "no viseable signals" are probably not very visable. Of course turn signals can be cheap, especially if otherscant see when you're using them. Signals that are funtional cost more.

That looks good so far. I wondered what it would look like to just trim up stock tail like that. Gonna do that myself. Thanks for the pics.
