Ok with some elbow grease and patience i got the ecu to it original position but it is just kind of siting on top of the battery. And yes there is some additional wiring. I have a tenderer, heated grips, hid kit. The previous owner had some sort of switch hooked up that has three positions that is located near the seat that does nothing. With additional cluster of unconnected wiring. (any ideas on what that could possibly be?)
IF it is indeed hooked up to something your going to keep (a 3 position switch to me says heated grips. Hi, low, off.). Route and rewire properly. There is plenty of room under the passenger seat for all that stuff. A grip heater switch should be moved up in the cockpit where you can get at it.
