Default what causes no fuel pump prime?

i cant figure it out. its on a buddies bike, was wrecked pretty good, but rebuilt and all back together. ecm is good, starter diode thing is good, tip sensor is good. there is just no power getting to the dang thing. the bike runs fine if its hotwired to power. gauges r working fine.

its very confusing-anyone got any ideas to help?-yes, all fuses are fine

how can i test the killswitch?-please give me other ideas than that if you have any, im so stuck..

Id check the killswitch if you didnt already, Im not sure how you would go about checking it. Kickstand safety? Im not sure if the kickstand would cause it to not prime, it might be messed up.

Make sure the headlight harness is plugged in all the way. Bypass the BAS by hooking up a jumper to the two outer wires (red and green if memory serves) Did you check your fuses?

killswitch is good, the tip sensor(bas) is good, fuses are good. we have 3 f4is, 2 run so swapping stuff on and off makes it easy to check whats good or not.
we still havent figured it out

If it runs if you hotwire the pump, then its either ignition switch, BAS sensor, neutral sensor, or headlight connector. I can't think of anything else that would prevent power to the pump of course other than a fuse. are you visually checking the fuses or checking continuity with a meter? swap or bypass any or all of these and see what you get. The wiring diagram is a life saver when it comes to this bike.

bas is bypassed. its not there, the normal headlights arent there, but they work fine-its streetfightered. all fuses have been replced with new ones

sounds like my next place to look is the nuetral sensor

nope, its the headlights. The F4i will not run without headlights unless the computer is wired to think they are there. its a safety feature to shut the bike down if there are no lights. I can't remember the wire colors you got to jumper together at the moment though. do a search for streetfightered or on the stunt forums.

well its got some hid acerbis thing on it, it has headlights, just not stock ones. it ran before it was wrapped around a pole. maybe that pole ate a wire or something

hm so it had the acerbis on it before the wreck? definately check the harness and make sure theres no break anywhere. Your 100% sure you got the BAS bypassed correctly, and the kill switch is functioning correctly? also have you swapped ignition switches. I know you said you tested the diode, but how?
