i don't see any pistons or cam shafts/valve springs, why would honda still have stuff for the F4I??
And what the heck is the engine power up kit made of?

 

How are you missing the cams and valves in the picture? Pistons are not part of the kit. The power up kit consists of whatever is in the picture and not listed seperatly, like the cams.

 

oh yeah i forgot these are shimmed and there obviously are the valves and cam shafts.. i guess im wondering the specs of using the kit.
would you run a higher compression?

 

Yes the head gasket will raise the compression although I don't know by how much. I wouldn't think its anymore then .5.

 

Last time I checked, there was a problem w/ availability of the F4i kits. Maybe that's changed.

 

I have a local guy I deal with to get the HRC components. He just got me the HRC quick throttle kit not too long ago. The kit is for the 03-04 600rr but is the exact same as the F4i. If you are looking at certain parts in particular let me know and I'll see if he can get them for you and if so I'll give you the phone number.

So this Kit is just giving you higher compression? What about the cams? Are they more aggressive? Or just a bunch of OEM replacements

What gains should we expect and why weren't there any prices?
