Default Well guys, this is my new home

I finally decided that the F4i was the bike for me, I am picking up my 2002 with 4700 miles this weekend. currently just has front flushmounts and a 2 bros pipe. I will post up some good pictures once i get it all clean and such. I have been researching many bikes for about a month. I was almost set on a YZF600 when i discovered that i could find a 2001+ f4i for around 4000 dollars.. i decided to research the two and decided that the honda would be the best. I have always been a honda man anyway with my CRF450 dirtbikes and TRX450r quad so i was happy to decide on the honda. Im glad to call this home and look forward to sharing banter with you guys!

Congrats and welcome to the neighborhood! The bike sounds like a nice buy- low miles and good price.

I almost got the Yamaha, too, until I sat on the Honda. Does it have that nasty fender? If so, make that your next mod...or frame sliders.

Yep you can trim it, get an angle grinder and some sandpaper. Welcome to the forum.

by the way, could someone tell me all of the functions of the speedo? what all it shows? also do any undertail kits allow for the plate to still be mounted there
