Default Well guys, it's been fun. *lots of pix

For those of you that have been here a while I'v been on this forum since 05 and pretty much only in the F4i section. My F4i has made Bike of the year and was on the first calander we ever made for this site.

Well a month ago I picked up the new 08 Limited edition 1000RR and all I can say is this bike awesome.
It feels lighter and turns smoother then any 600 I'v ever ridden my F4i feels slow and heavy by any compairson. I just dunno how else to describe it but that way.

Anyway I wont be gone because I didn't trade in my F4i but here's a few pix of both bikes

before

after

and now

I have the 1000RR

Since I pickedup my 1000RR my girlfriend has sorta stolen my F4i she rides it to work every friday on casual day, and we go riding all the time so I guess it's her bike now. I used to be afraid she would drop it but I know better now she's a great rider after taking the MSF course and logging a few thousand miles under her belt.

Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know why I may or may not be posting quite as much around here, it's because i'm out riding

two bro's and jarden makes a really nice black carbon one that looks sick

but they are only slip ons and cost around 600 so no thank you yet.

as far as droping the engine out no, I was in the same boat as you and I had a shop do it for me they tore it down took it to powder had it powder coated then put it back together again.

I will never ever ever stop preaching how much better powder coating is then painting your frame i'v had it this way for over 2 years now and not ONE chip in the powder not to mention it looks just like it did when it was bran new.
