Default Weight of your F4i

Anybody ever weigh their bike ? Accurately ? I have seena few different weights listed for the F4i's and the other day i thought id just swing by the local dump and see how much they'd charge me to run it accross their scales. Well, they said the bike and i weighed 850 lbs.[sm=insomnia.gif] I just laughed and rode on. ( with full gear, i weigh 136 lbs.) So,..... my next thought was to just get a couple bathroom scales and see what that told me. Sure couldn't be further off than the dump. LOL

The combined weights added up to 388 lbs. Im a bit surprised at how low this is, and the only real weight saving mods are a carbon fiber can, and undertail. (bike is an '01 F4i)

You guys think this is pretty close ?

I believe your bike with a full tank of gas would weigh somewhere in the high 300's. I've never went out of my way to weigh my bike. Just didn't think it was necessary.

Well it sounds like this might be fairly close. Im coming off a very porky VFR. A fantastic bike, but just so fricking heavy. I love the light CBR, and was just curious to its weight in comparrison. The VFR is over 500 wet.

Nope. "I just laughed and rode on" I know i shouldn't assume, but if you went to them asking if they could specifically tell you how much something wieghed, you'd think the weight they gave you would be the weight you were asking for. Call me crazy............
