Vortex Frame Sliders
i searched up everything i could about frame sliders and instilation but didnt really find anything about how to EXACTLY cut the holes out. i understand you use a 2' hole saw...but how do you manage to take off the fairings and still get the hole perfect? im getting mine in the mail tomorrow and will attempt to put them on but could anyone give me some advice on cutting the holes. i really dont want to screw those up.
sorry if its a repeat thread, i searched up the topic first and didnt come up w/ much on cutting the holes.
thanks in advance...

RE: Vortex Frame Sliders
well i got up enough ***** to do the frame sliders today. they turned out SO much better than i thought they would have. i ended up using 1 3/4' hole saw and it was an exact, i mean EXAAAACT fit. so once the hole was cut and the fairings were ready to be put back on, i ended up having to take a file to the hole to get the holes to line up w/ the upper. but it turned out great, professional looking i must say, lol. i'll get some pics up tomorrow!
so i think my next purchase will be flushmounts and those wing shadows. i've seen pics of guys on here w/ the red/white sheme and those shadows REALLY bring out the wings so much more. so if anyone has any great/cheap sites to purchase those off of, that'd be great. so next.......wing shadows and flushmounts, then undertail and HOPEFULLY a Micron pipe months and months down the road. i kinda look at the pipe as a safety feature. it's always good for people to hear you coming, and to hear WHERE you are. not that you can rely on that and trust them, but you get what im saying.
thanks for all the helpful tips and quick replies!

well after alot of searching on here i came to the conclusion that Vortex was the best bang for you're buck. i paid $74 all together and got them w/in two days! ijust ordered them off Vortex's website.i ended up going w/ the silly puddy method. worked GREAT and got my holes dead on! i was pretty nervous about doing them and even put them off for a few days, but all went well today and thats a weight off my shoulders, lol.
