Default VIN

So I bought my bike out of state (I'm in the military) and I wanted to register it where I claim residency. Anyhow, in order for me to get tags for it; I must either have a tracing of the VIN number or bring the bike itself....Well it doesn't have plates so I can't bring it....I seen the sticker on the left hand side but obviously I can't take a number 2 pencil to trace it with...is there an actual plate that I can take a piece of paper and pencil to trace the VIN number?

Oh sorry I have an 03F4i

Thanks for your help

It shoule be stamped on the neck of the frame underneath the tripple tree but I do not know how easy it would be to trace it on the frame
