wow. whats with f4i's being overpriced these days..i dont think either of those bikes are worth more than 4...at 5+ you're lookin in the RR range. that's just what i think

 

I would by this bike if I had the money it is really easy to get a title in michigan for a bike though. I don't know anywhere else.

Wow, mid-season prices are ridic. Maybe I should get into the business of flipping bikes.

 

I had that same idea this morning. Buy them in December, fix the little things and then sell them in May/June.

I bought my '01 F4i last week for $3900 and it came with a butt-load of mods (Akrapovic, PC3, Corbin Seat, Flush Mounts, Sliders, Fender Eliminator, Suspension work, etc).

 

What you really want is the bikes that aren't running that well and just need a new battery or a fresh tank of gas or something. Make some bank on those.

I feel like talk like this is how a lot of bad stealerships got started.

 

Oh Definitely. Those are always the "gold-mine" stories where a wife sells a bike/car or a husband does thinking its gone all to sh*t when in reality it needs a new carb or the carb cleaned/fresh gas or a battery. If only my luck worked like that for me to find one in this condition.

Im debating selling thisF4i after I have gotten used to it at the end of the summer and then picking up something a little racier/newer in the dead of winter for a deal from a dealer of private party. Maybe only have to put out a few $$ instead of trying to do it sooner and getting shafted on pricing.

 

Those prices are too high in my opinion. I bought an 01 in red, same as you first pic, in mint condition, never down, with a high mount exhaust and a few other after market accessories for $4000. The bike had 7000 miles on it and I got it with 2 helmets, a leather jacket and leather gloves.

 

So i have a simialiar question how much should I pay for a new 02 honda f4i I don't want to go to the dealer buy the bike and2 weeks laterand foundout i got majoraly ripped off any suggestions on what i should start my starting price at. Thx
