Default Upper Bracket Fairing

Is there any way to bend them back you think? From the previous owner its slightly bent which indicates he dropped it there. I thought about putting it on a vice. Heating it up and then hitting it so it bends back. Think that would work or not?

Its cast aluminum, DONT do it it will snap.

Ok I thought it was cast. I won't do. I'll wait awhile anyways till I buy a new one. It's not bugging me that bad
