The title says it all guys. I can't for the life of me find a undertail that you can paint w/o break lights and turn signals mounted with it.

basicly i bought the clear alternatives signal intgrator iced out tail light which i think looks amazing and i dont need turn signals, but i'm getting my bike painted friday and I want to paint an undertail ...

painted or not I dont care has anyone ever seen a undertail w/o the lights with it or should i just buy one and cut them off?

 

there is a guy selling one an undertail in the classifieds forum for $80 + shipping, not bad if you ask me, but i think the guy sold it. the undertail uses your stock or in your case aftermarket turn signal/brake light. no need for other turn signals. here is the link to the pic of it, I think he mentioned it was a hotbodies undertail. http://images.search.yahoo.com/searc...tt=84&ei=UTF-8

They have 2 available & both are ABS plastic. One keeps the stock tail light & the other doesn't.

just a simple question do most undertails come with the plastic piece that hold the battery and storage ,the plastic in between
the subframe. sorry rojerlockless just had a lil question bout undertails didnt want to change your thread or

not at all thats a good question. the answer is most you still need the battery tray from your old one

 

Yep, my '01 you had to cut the existing plastic.
