Default undertails

I know undertails have been brought up many of times but I was wondering if on them there is a hole precut out for the lock. I noticed on the hotbodies by the pics posted that there looks like there is something silver in the middle of the hotbodies right behind the lights. Is that the lock?

I was just on ebay and noticed there are plastic ones and fiberglass ones. Anybody know which one is better. Also found this one on ebay and thinking of getting. Can you let me know what you think and if its a good deal. thanks

i imagine the plastic would be lighter, and perhaps require less adjustment for installation, whereas a fiberglass item would typically be heavier, stronger, and easier to repair.
