My opinion, I dont like fiberglass and I just recently installed a pimpbikes on a friends bike, altho the install was easy the lock was a pita and it seems it flexes the undertail when you turn the key. I myself went with a metal version from comp werks and I love it.. sturdy and easy to install.

I also have the pimpbikes undertail that keeps your stock taillight and i like it alot. Install was easy and unlike the post above, customer service was great and they helped me out with the few questions i did have.

So the Pimpbikes undertail that keeps the stock taillight doesn't have the integrated turn signals? Did you have to mount your own?

Either get a license plate mount with signal mounts, or get an integrated tail light, or dont use signals at all.

Or get a Hotbodies undertail. Uses stock taillight and has small turns built in. Stop light is what I would be more concerned about anyways. Only for the 04-06 models though or 99-00 f4. the 01-03 is different and not as nice IMO.

Why bring up a Hotbodes undertail when he's asking about Pimpbikes?... Hotbodies Pimpbikes.

Because he was asking what were people doing that had the pimpbikes undertail for turn signals. I was pointing him in a different direction for an undertail that had blinkers built into it that still used the stock tail light.

You also pointed him to an undertail that doesn't fit his bike. Good job.

There isn't a year listed for what F4i JaBr1884 has. The only reference to year in this whole post was the pictures that redzintimidator posted which is clearly a 01-03, which was just for reference to an undertail that kept the stock tail light. This thread started as an open opinion on different undertail kits and when JaBr1884 asked about what to do about turn signals for an undertail that doesn't have integrated ones I pointed to one that did. Also for others who are looking and wondering the same thing, that there are other options. Sorry for stepping on your toes.

Asked about an undertail designed for the 01-03, hint hint. You didn't step on my toes. I just hate it when people start misleading others.
