hey bud I installed a hot bodies undertail on my '01 f4i. Honestly it was an easy job all the way around. I would think that if you ride then you pretty much know your way around some basic tools. If that is the case then just buy and undertail and slap it on ...

The guy is really cool and custom made these just for the 04-05 f4i. i put one on my bike and it looks sick. great installation instructions too....just my $.02

 

looks good, if i scrape up the cash i might pick that up. I was looking for a solution that kept the seat lock in about the same spot. i've already got an assymilator so the signals arent a worry, justneed to get rid f the hunk of plastic.
