Turn sig problem
I bought the bike w/ rear integrated turn signals. Either way i hit the signal the side that has the switch on blinks slightly faster than the other, but they both blink none the less. Anyone incounter this problem? I really don't know anything about electrical....
Thanks, Rob. |
RE: Turn sig problem
Start by tracing the wires to where they were spliced to after market sigs. Then check to see if they came loose. It's as easy as anywhere to start at this point.

RE: Turn sig problem
ALso make sure after tracing that who ever did it used each side independently and didn't try to combine the ground, or something similar cuttin corners.

RE: Turn sig problem
wats wrong with all the grounds connected? its a common ground any ways right?
asking this cuz my stock was like that, and when i shortened the wiring for my aftermarket headlight i also link all of them to common ground (havnt hook up to check if it works yet) |
RE: Turn sig problem
The more things you wrap together, the better the chance of something comin loose. You are correct about "common ground". I was just inquiring on the amount of wires linked together, something along the lines of hookin up a pig tail on a truck for a trailer. If you don't split it up right, they don't work right i.e. both lights blink when turn signal is on, but work OK when just on brake.
