I wait a round, then run it. I know most lights around here so I know which ones are gonna give me trouble. The starter trick works well at some of them.

Any light that doesn't work for you - call it in - at least 20 other bikers get stuck there. It is the cities responsibility to have functioning traffic devices.

I make a right turn if it is busy, or run them if it is quiet

not to thread steal but SteelBallz nice TA i have the same year only the collectors ed. love that car it's just a tad slower then my f4i! lol
I orginally wanted the Collector's Edition, but I got a great deal on mine. And after I added the racing stripes and all of the overlays, I was pretty satisfied with the white/black combo.

I am not real sure that my F4i is faster than my car actually I only wish my F4i had all the stuff done to it that my car has....

PM me sometime, I have tons on info on the FBody -- it is kind of scarey

Now Back on Topic

Not to be an ***, but to keep up with f4i a car needs enough power to do 0-60mph in 2.9s, unless you have McLaren F1 or dragster it is unlikely to show such performance. Maybe somewhere after 120mph a car will be able to catch up.

I too have a real problem with a signal I go by everyday on my way to work. When you guy's hit the starter are you shutting down the engine first? I've never hit the starter with the engine running, but can't imagine that being too good for the engine. I read a article by an city engineer who was responsible for installing the signals, and he said magnets have no effect on them what so ever!

OMG, take it easy there buddy... I was talking about quarter mile times (at least with me driving the motorcycle).

When you say "dragster" you could very well classify my car as such.... well some people do anyway.

Reading this thread inspired me to inquire about the laws in my area since I have to go through a light every day on my way to work that doesn't trigger. If no cars are coming up behind me and it's clear I just run it. It's only a 3-way intersection so it's pretty safe.

Well I called about it an what you said is what they told me. It's not legal to run through it so basically you screwed. They told me to call the municipality and get them to address the problem.
