Default TIRES!!

I'm replacing the tires on my F4 for the first time and was wondering what you guys liked.

This bike will never be stunted or raced and will probably only see wet weather if i get stuck in the rain riding home...i'm more of a joyrider but i would like to get lower in the turns.

Any recommendations??

I've heard a LOT about the Metzeler Sportec M3s. I've read a couple of tire comparo articles (Sportrider) and the Metzeler kept coming out on top with dry traction, wet traction and wear. I'm gong with the Metzelers on the next change of tires.

I have the Dunlop Qualifiers right now. I went with the Qualifer based on it was the closest thing to the front stock tire I could find. I picked up a screw in my stock factory rear tire at about 2500 miles, and the front was like new. But the front is wearing a bit now.. So I'm going with the M3's right before the summer months.

p. powers are not good if he is only going to be riding around casually...they will wear very fast

qualifiers are a dual ply tire, where it is harder rubber in the middle so it gives you more life while on the higway and stuff, but have a performance "sidewall" so you can lean over and have sticky traction

I just got my 06' F4i a couple months ago. I'm planning a track day in the spring. Has anyone taken OEM tires to the track. I have the Dunlop sport max tires.
