Has anyone ever bought tires from www.tireexpress.com. The guy i bought my bike from said they where a good site to go thru. I was just wondering if anyone else had ever used them and if they where reputible.

I haven't used that place but I just get mine from a local motorsports store, you might check in town before wasting money on shipping.

I disagree. On the internet is a hell of a lot cheaper and if you find a good deal, a lot of times the shipping is free. So, search around and you should find some good deals.

www.ridenow.com

this is where I got my tires from. Real good website.

kneedraggers.com for me. problem with buying online is you have to mount and balance the tire yourself.

i have not tried that site you mentioned but there are plenty of places that you could get tires... you could try:

1. your local cycle gear, or www.cyclegear.com
2. www.kneedraggers.com
3. www.morepowerracing.com (lowest prices i've found including shipping, and if you find cheaper they'll price match)
4. or just try a search on google for motorcycle tires.

I DISAGREE 110%.. Internet tires are cheaper by ALOT most of the time...and if you find the right site...some even offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount.
It is true that local shops often have good sales of tires...usually in the off-season...atleast where Im from (VA).

This is where I got my Metzler M3's from a few months ago...took around 4 days to get them with free shipping! Cant beat that!!

http://www.solomotoparts.com/home.php

Then I took my rims and tires (off the bike) to get mounted.....Shops charge alot less when they are off the bike for obvious reasons....

Hope it helps...

Getting online is a lot cheaper, but I've come to find out, overall I'm only saving minimally, because they charge so much to mount and balance that it just brings the price right back up. And they sell the tire for a lot, but don't charge mount and balance.
