Default tire recommendation

Out of curiosity, has anybody ever experimented with either the Dunlop Roadsmart Sport Touring or Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires? What kind of results/mileage did you get? I'm a new rider and mostly ride speed limit on avg. 55mph-80mph highways, so would you recommend it for an f4i?

Thanks in advance.

I ran a set of Pilot Roads and got 8k out of em. The Road 2CTs are pose to be better and have a sticky compound on the edges. I would def run them if I did more commuting than railing lol

Pilot Road 2ct's are great tires for your f4i. The last set I had on mine lasted rather well but I don't honestly remember the exact mileage. I haven't had any experience with the Roadsmart tire so I couldn't give a direct comparison.

I put on roadsmarts after the stock ones were done at 5000m,

The roadsmart tires are way stickier than the origanal dunlops.

I have 6000m on them so far still look good, and i'll go with them

again when they ware out. Good tires feel solid when leaned over.

Road smarts all the way. Im only at about5K miles or so with plenty to go. the center is wearing down some but will get another season out of them. I will have 3 seasons with these vs 2 with the previous 208s I had. I rail my bike and scrub the tire from side to side and it sticks as well as a stickeir sportier tire. I will buy nothing else other than roadsmarts. my buddy also has them on his kawi ZX14 and loves them. that bike is a monster and he has had no issues with them either.

You might want to look at the Bridgestone Battlax BT 016 tires too. They have a triple compound and are currently working out really well for my brother. He's got a VFR and needs more center tread to last longer. Seems like a good tire from what I've tested too.

i run dunlop qualifiers on my F4i and have 5k on them now with plenty of tread left.
and have a spare set of dunlop Q2's which is the upgraded qualifier. just my opinion
