Surprised no one else mentioned Southwest Moto Tires. Excellent prices, best I have found. Also provides free shipping on orders of two or more tires. A little unorthodox in regards to not having a telephone number listed (he explains this on his web site). However, he is very reputable. I have personally purchased tires for my Blackbird and an old Interceptor over the past year without issue. I will ordering from him again when my wife's F4i needs new tires as well.

if you are near a cycle gear they pricematch. i have only looked at the michelin pilot powers, and there is a guy selling a set for 246 shipped free. the only bad part is you'll get screwed on the mounting and balancing if you don't buy the tires there.

wats up everyone? i need to replace my rear tire its a bridgestone battlax bt010r 180/55zr17, i cant find this exact tire anywhere online. i can find a bt014 or some other bt012ss, but no bt010. wats that number stand for anyway? i know wat the 180/55zr17 stands for but not the bt010. can anyone help, my local bike shop said itd cost me like 180 for the tire, dont think that includes mount and balance.

also has anyone ever tried changing motorcycle tires on a car tire machine, i might give it a tire at work i hope it works

its the same process of changing a bike tire on a car machine. . .just mount it like a reverse mounted rim since you can't clamp it on the inside. other than that you do it the same way. I've done a couple at work myself and some at home. i have a manual tire changer at home and using tire levers sucks compared to using the automatic machine at the shop.

as far as balancing, i just set up the axle on jack stands and spin the tire until i hit the heavy spot
