Default Tire prices

Anybody know a good place for deals on tires?

I wouldnt mind running a cheaper back tire because my D207 has held up great. Lasted through a lot of burnouts and still hooked when you clutched it up from a dead stop...

Front tire I need something with more grip. Lookin for a pilot power, metzler, or Qualifier. Need the extra grip for stoppies.

Anybody know of any good places for low prices?

I wouldn't buy a cheap back tire. Because of $30-50 dif you are going to risk medical bills and shop bills? My friend had some medium grade tires.. anytime the tires were cold or there was any water on the road his tires would skid just by accelerating 75% of his bike's potential. SV 650.. Not that much power. About 50 ft-lb of torque at the most. Nothing like doing a burnout at 20mph when trying to clutch a wheelie. Needless to say he got some Pilot Roads. Amazing grip and longer lasting then the race bred tires.

Don't forget tires are the most important aspect of any racing machine. Anything else gives out you might save it. Your tires give out, your chances are slim..

Very true...I didnt mean I wanted some cheap *** tires...

I just dont need as sticky of a back tire as I do a front tire...I need something that is gonna last a while but also can bring the bike up on one from a dead stop...

indysuperbikes.com, ask for dominick. They are super easy to deal with and have good prices. I bought 2 sets (for 2 bikes) of Qualifiers about 6 weeks ago.

Used to be lower but for some reason raised their prices. Good to check once in a while though.
