Default Tire Mounting Q

What can happen when the front tire has been mounted on the rim backwards?

the front and rear tire no longer with together with one another...probably feel funky during turns.
most likely ok for around town riding, a no no for spirited riding.

only difference I see is that the tread will be in the wrong direction so don't ride in the rain with it

otherwise, its the same rubber, shouldn't matter which direction it goes

Now you're making me want to go take a look at my bike. I would think that the front wheel, including rotors, is symmetrical so there is no backwards, and all you have to do is take the wheel off the bike and flip it around to get the tire tread pointing in the right direction.

I ask because I had a new front tire put on my bike at, what people say, is the best motorcycle dealership/shop in the Omaha Nebraska area. The bastards mounted it backwards on the rim. I put 1000+ miles on the bike before it was noticed. I'm extremely unhappy
