Hi,i have installed new manual tensioner and adjusted it. Noise was gone for a week I used it , and ended up selling the bike. New owner driven it additional 40k and haven't reported any issues.

often the tensioner spring is the culprit, it gets weak, and then the cam chain sounds like it is " trying to escape"

a new OEM auto tensioner, or a manual one and bingo its fine
