time for a bj
Brake Job that is, u pervert! so my brake pads are pretty low so time to chagne em'. wat kind of pads have u guys/gals used, oem, aftermarket?? and wat about rotors. i can't cut these like a cars rotors, right? so do i replace them too, maybe get some cool lookin rotors? i'd love to get some nice pads, rotors, and steel brake lines. thats probly gonna be a lil pricey but stopin is just as important as accelerating . wat u guys think? thanks for any imput
I think oem is fine, the factory brakes have enough power to either lock up the wheels or flip your bike over, so I see no real reason to upgrade unless it is a track bike, you want a different look, or want a little more responsive feel from new lines
I stunt ride the f4i and for stunting the oem pads work the best (not to little not to much) for rolling endo's that is.
but for street riding i like galfer green back kevlar all the way around my bike they are straight up race pads but they will stop you like hitting a mack truck!! awsome bite!!
so i guess it is all up to the sort of riding you will be doing?
if you are looking to up grade your brakes though?
I would go with galfer kevlar pads, steel lines, and those pimp looking galfer wave rotors!!
then you can sell the stock rotors to me for cheap!! >=)
EBC sukks? just my 2 cents?

I just replaced my stock pads and lines with EBC HH and galfer stainless braided lines. It made a noticeable difference, though not as drastic as i thought it would be. The first 1/2 of the lever travel is about the same, but you get a LOT more stopping power when you give it a good squeeze. It's great for aggressive street riding.
Unless you have bad surging in the lever your rotors should be fine. Unless you just wanna spend the money to make them look cool.
