Scraping pegs only happens at the most extreme lean angles, and a bike with properly set up suspension (not too soft and can handle the forces the bike is putting on it) should also help keep from dragging exhaust mid-pipe, kickstand, or pegs.

Dragging a peg is NOT a good thing and if you end up putting too much weight on that peg, it's going to unload the weight on one of the tires and your going down. Been there.

Proper body position helps eliminate the extreme lean angle, and a tire thats shredded is just an indication of improper suspension, and tire pressure.
i want this guy to come help me set up my 929rr suspension

I'd help more if i could, but i'll admit im no suspension guy. I have however been lucky to have bought a bike that was properly equipt with aftermarket suspension. (rear Penske and re-valved and sprung front forks) All i had to do was get a proper rear spring for my wieght, then pay the suspension techs that show up at track days to help dial it in. My last 3 trackdays have been in the A group, and while there are faster guys out there then me, my little F4i got it on with the best of them.

We're the same weight brother, you should buy my set up and be done with it.

I've got my track plastics to sell too. BAM ! just like that, you set for trackdays.

if you are dragging pegs/bike parts, you are doing it wrong.

Some actual feedback - or suggestions on where to go to find correct information would be helpful.
