Default Those who have modified the stock mud flap....

I was thinking of doing this and moving the license plate up before buying an aftermarket fe kit. What did you use to smooth out the edges after dremmeling it? I don't want to have it look like it was just hacked away. Any close up pics would also be appreciated. Thanks.

i used some sand paper and just rounded the edges umm theres a post faster down with some pics of my setup

Check out forum member "Stephens" pic. This would be the typical CBR600F4i method for
eliminating the tail. He did a good job.

how hard was it to connect the LEDs up to the power source?

Use the same power wires from the original plate lights.

I used a 18V DeWalt angle grinder to cut it down, and then used a bench grinder to smooth it out, and then took some 220 sand paper to smooth the final cut on it.
