Thinner Head Gasket

Thinner Head Gasket
Hey,
I have a F4i racebike and was looking for a bit more power. I'm currently dropping the engine and doing the valves, so I was wondering if you can get a thinner headgasket to increase compression slightly. I would rather not getting into milling the head but if there is no other way I will.
Cheers,
Sean

i think the stock gasket is 3 layers and held on by rivets(not sure), if so you can just use one layer of that instead of 3;
as a race bike you probably want it rev up quicker instead of more power first; have you had a look at the HRC race flywheel and quick throttle mod

sorry for hijacking but how would the flywheel increase the speed at which it can accelerate? are we talking significantly or its just less rotational mass?
or are you speaking of the whole crankshaft as well?
im for more power but a new bike can be purchased for the price of some of those HRC mods.

flywheel is connected directly to the crank, yes and with a race flywheel it pretty much weight nothing compare to the stock one, its significantly lighter so motor spin up a lot quicker
only downside is it make the bike bit more difficult to ride on the road, easy to stall on traffic but on track it shouldn't be a problem, btw if going for HRC you will need the special stator to go with it so unless you can found a second hand set or similar pattern one it is very dear
and yea if you riding on the road its better off getting a newer model with more power
