if you mean a power commander and a trs slip on, you will be fine. I have the yosh, lovvve itttt. Except its to bulky, thinking of making it into a shorty (shawty).

you don't need a pcIII. I have a yosh and i found that now when the bike isn't at optimal temperature for riding then through the higher rpms it will lag power in bunches. It will feel like is pulling then letting go then pulling again. But once the bike is hot enough i haven't noticed it

I ran a full system for 2 years without a PCIII you really dont notice it much. You will be fine if your just getting a slip on.
