Default Thinking about selling the F4i...

Well, I got an offer on my bike the other day for five grand. At first I was like "no, this is my first bike, I did everything to it myself and if I ever got another bike I would probably keep this one too." But then I started to think, I'm not in a financial position to keep this bike and get another one, and I've seen 08-09 1000's (I looooooove them!) on Craigslist in the seven grand range. So I guess I need some advice, the fact that I have to think about it should tell me no, but the fact that I could be on a 09 1000rr for two grand is pushing me. What do you guys think? I attached some pics so hopefully you can pick out all the mods (it also has a DDM Tuning HID kit)...

How many miles? $5k sounds pretty good. I would love to step it up to a 1000rr but everything about 1k's are more expensive, (insurance, tires, etc.)

If I were you I would take it and run. $5K is an awesome price that you'll never get again. I personally want to sell my F4i and get a 05-06 600RR over the winter. The F4i are good bikes but there is nothing like new technology.

I wouldnt count my chickens before they hatch... You might get some talk (and snickering) but no one is going to give you 5k, guaranteed. Well, not guaranteed, their is a fool born every minute

I just bought one off CL with 10k/mi showroom stock and super clean for $3k. New tires, new plugs, new oil, new chain/sprockets. Many 06-07s (not all Honda) with <5k/mi for $3500/4k.

Not trying to be argumentative but reality is reality.

Take the 5 for sure. I want to do exactly what Rdub said. Sell my F4i and get a 600rr or a 1000rr.
