Tail Swap Process

There ya go! Lookin' good! See, its not so hard is it?!?
Nice to see others actually doing this after getting so many emails asking me how. I've spent many long email exchanges to people explaining the process in great detail (in addition to my tutorial here), then never hear back from them or see pictures of the result.
Glad your split seat swap is going well. I think you're gonna like it.

Looks good! I finally got my bolts for the front seat from the dealership yesterday as I couldnt find anyone else. If you needed them, they were $8 for both and the latch is $12.
btw, gotcbr I pretty much used your pics as a guide. Very beneficial. thanks

Maybe one more question - what did you do with the electrical?
I have the bolts off, but the wiring is keeping the subframe in and I can't seem to find a good way to disconnect it. Did you just unhook everything, or is there an easier way?
Edit: Nevermind, I got it I dropped the seat plastic, disconnected the brake light and the seat lock and everything seems good. The tray is still caught up in wires, but the frame is off. Thanks again!
